About the Podcast

This documentary-style podcast explores the matters of sport through personal stories and events that reveal the emotional, mental and practical elements associated with sports. It also explores values, choices, inclusivity, challenges, and the manner in which sports mirror society. In each episode, two hosts — with the background and skills to artfully navigate complex topics and pull listeners in — thoughtfully explore, along with the listener, a window into sport. With honesty and intention, the hosts engage with guests who have direct experience or subject matter expertise, providing perspectives on the story of the day.

Thinking Sport with Jim and Jeremi appeals to anyone who watches, plays or follows sports — or identifies with being on a team. It will also appeal to those interested in the human capacity for inspiration as well as those wishing to impact their communities, workplaces and other affiliations. Change makers and change agents will find episodes riveting, informational, and supportive of their goals.

While there are a number of podcasts devoted to sports play and analysis, Thinking Sport with Jim and Jeremi will explore the impact of sports on the human condition as well as the role of sports as a teacher and model for productive teamwork. Its storytelling will inspire listeners to take action within their own "teams" — however they define them.
